I really want to find myself some more vests, especially a little denim one (yes I know I am a bit late a few times over with that trend!) I love this white one, don't get me wrong, but I think we might all benefit from giving it a bit of a rest!

After what seems like weeks of being taunted by people across the pond, it's our turn.


I couldn't find it at Borders or Barnes & Noble (I think others have, though perhaps not in NYC), but they do have it at Around the World on W 40th, right by Bryant Park. I haven't even had a proper chance to look at it, but from what I've seen it's certainly not any kind of a let down. People looking for scans should check here!

Today was the first day in a solid several months that I left the house without something on my legs. I felt so naked!

Ring in the new

Two vintage VOGUE brand rings arrived in the mail today from, where else, eBay. The one looks like a funny birds nest, and the other is little pink rose. Spring has sprung on my fingers!

Yeah, you! I just wanted to extended a big thank you to everyone who's been dropping by lately. I truly enjoy reading your comments, and it's incredibly gratifying to see how much more activity goes on around here compared to when I was first starting out, a baby blogger in baby blogger swaddling clothes, knee high to a grasshopper. (I'd also like to whisper a smaller, but nonetheless sincere, thank you to whoever has been supporting my "sponsor" over to your left. Whatever keeps a girl in discount hosiery, right?)

It never ceases to amaze and flatter me that so many of you are willing to take the time out of your day to see what I'm up to, despite the fact that what I seem to be up to much of the time is bitching about being broke and obsessing over weird shoes on eBay.
