So Much to Tell You just reminded me of this beautifully paired-down set of out-takes from a shoot for Exit Magazine by Benny Horne that I meant to post a bit ago. I really love that black shirt. I'm so excited to wear semi-sheer tops come springtime!

P.S. Reports from the front:
1) I found RUSSH #31 at that mag shop on the corner of Spring and Lafayette, as instructed by Chelsea (thanks again!!) All I can say is that the cover is gorgeous and matte, as I've barely gotten a chance to crack it open yet!
2) I went and tried on a pair of those Steve Madden boots I mentioned in my previous post. They are gorgeous and surprisingly sturdy and well made-feeling, but I deemed them too high for daily use. Too bad, so sad.

Magazines of my Dreams

I just spotted the cover of the newest issue of Lula Magazine (which should be out mighty soon!) over on So Much to Tell You. Bless you ladies!! I haven't seen it posted anywhere else. Who knows how they got their hands on it...maybe it's because they're living 12 hours into the future??



PLUS I finally got my hands on RUSSH #29 today. Aaaaah, I haven't even had the chance to crack it open yet, but I am so happy. I'll try and scan my favorite bits, though I have faith it will be hard to choose. 'Twas a good day for glossies indeed!!

love is strange

Whoa whoa WHOA, wait. Am I to understand that there is a Badlands themed editorial in the September issue of RUSSH???? When I still haven't layed eyes on the last issue, the one that came out two months ago?? Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Oh RUSSH, it's a good thing I love you so damn much. Otherwise I'm afraid I might hate you...

While we're on the subject of my favorite magazine, if you haven't been in a while, go check out their new website. You can buy back issues as well as flip though many of them in their entirety. And there's even a section called "RUSSH merchandise" which is coming soon...I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a tote!

A feeling I get

I'm flying home to the West Coast on Saturday morning to spend some time in the Islands. I can't wait to see my best friend!! The above photo is an artistic representation of what I hope those glorious three and a half weeks will hold for us...

A Very Very Very Fine House

Ever since the demise of Domino Magazine, my well of interior design inspiration has shrunk to contain little more than the Selby and the odd Paris Vogue feature. That's why I love RUSSH's Interiors section (sadly absent from the latest issue, boo!) This is probably my favorite home to be featured yet, from the September/October 2007 issue (also probably my favorite issue, that I've seen anyways.)

Tons of cat stuff, really cool shoes, an antler chandelier, a stuffed peacock...shoot, it doesn't get much better than this!

Somebody in Australia Loves Me...

Well, not just somebody, Hannah! I don't think I could say "thank you" enough if I ran upstairs and literally shouted it from the rooftops!

Haha, and now I think I'm addicted to Frankie--and not just because they said good things about the Pains (though that suuure doesn't hurt none!) I mean seriously, do you guys publish any non-amazing magazines? I defy you to show me your worst, trashiest rag, and watch as it still manages to blow its pasty American counterpart out of the water. I bet even Marie Claire Australia, be there such a thing, is at least readable!

Basically, I've given up all hope of finding Russh Magazine here in the US. Things were going so well, and then it up and disappears again! I can't take this kind of stress.

So I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who actually lives where this magazine is published (or anywhere else where they actually sell it, in stores, wacky I know) who might be willing to buy me a copy and ship it over here? And also, just how much that might run me? Cheapest shipping, plus the cost of the magazine and something for your trouble of course. You would be saving me such a world of pain, and I would love you foorrreeevvvveeeerrrrrr!
