It's gotta be tough out there for a puppy these days, what with kittehs getting all the glory on teh internets. "Are we not fluffy enough?" they might ask. "Do we not yip and yap loud enough, or fall down on hardwood floors hard enough? What's a baby dog gotta do to get a break around here??"
North Brooklyn Dry Goods would like to help rekindle your puppy love affair by offering the chance for one lucky guy or gal to win this cozy vintage sweater. Made by L.L.Bean (purveyors of some of the best sweaters in the world, I might add), this 100% wool pullover is marked a medium, but could easily fit a range of sizes (see the Etsy listing for details, and check out their shop announcement to find out how to receive 20% off any order while you're at it!) To enter, we ask only that you:
a) follow North Brooklyn Dry Good on twitter for shop updates, sneak previews, promos and more.
b) leave a comment on this entry.
That's it! A winner will be chosen at random and notified on Monday, December 12th. This giveaway is open worldwide. Best of luck, and Happy Howlidays, bwaha!
EDIT: If you haven't got a twitter account, I forgive you, JUST THIS ONE TIME OK? You can enter by instead checking out NBDG's shop and leaving a comment as to which item is your second favorite (because duh, this sweater is the best!)

This morning, I'd like to introduce you guys to another one of my kind sponsors:
PISTENINE VINTAGE AND SECONDHAND
I've actually been a fan of this shop for quite some time now, after stumbling across it on some late-night sugar-high-induced shoe hunt (no doubt.) What caught my attention was the mix of off-beat, totally adorable stock and incredibly reasonable prices--and not just "Etsy reasonable" but, like real life reasonable! I kind of felt like I had come across my own semi-private online thrift store and now, well, I guess I'm sharing my "secret" with you all!For her latest update, I sent Susie a list (and...ok, made a polyvore set!) of some of my favorite summer essentials, and she in turn took my recommendations to heart when shopping around for her newest stock. Above are just a few of the amazing pieces she tracked down, all available for sale in her shop. Check it!!
Like a lot of ladies, I've been a fan of Tabio's Little Heart Tights for some time now. However, as the barometer here in NYC rises, my desire to roll anything clingy onto my legs, even if it is painfully adorable and sheer, drops rapidly. Fortunately, I'm also big fan of the whole socks-with-heels trend, so when I came across their sweet, simple little socks peeping out of Shalom Harlow's pumps in June's British Vogue, I was delighted. In turn, when Tabio approached me recently about trying out a couple of their products, I thought of their Soft Nylon Socks immediately.
Happily, they've also agreed to do a little giveaway for all you fine readers. So, all you have to do to win a pair of Tabio's Soft Nylon Socks in the color of your choice is visit the weblisting and leave a comment letting me know which color you'd prefer, and why. The winner will be chosen at random on Wednesday night (I'd leave it open longer but it looks like I may be out of town next weekend.) If your email isn't available on your profile, please leave that as well. Best of luck to you all!
Contest is closed!

(click picture for item details)...Kelly of Girl With. Congrats Kelly, your skirt from bOmode should be on its way in no time!Although I did end up using a random number generator to choose her entry, I loved her outfit description that I decided to make a little polyvore mock-up of it! Kelly choose the Vintage Raffia Woven Tote, and then wrote:"Peppermint colours! It fits the weather as it's getting hotter. I'd wear it with khaki linen shorts, a crisp white shirt with the sleeves rolled up, a pair of Hasbeens, turquoise bangles, and red lipstick!" Above is my (slightly embellished) version. Thank you to everyone who entered the giveaway!! I'd like to continue to bring you fun, painless ways to win pretty free things--if any shops are ever interested, feel free to drop me a line :n )
After my recent post in which I declared my love for the Eberjey Delirious Bralet, Mariela Rovito, one of the founders of the label, left me this sweet comment:
"Love, love, love how you wrote about our Delirious Bralet. Thanks for being a fan. It's actually one of the "cult favorites" in our collection. Wanted to give your readers access to our Private Sale on Monday. Enter code CyberMonday and get 20% off entire purchase! Do it before 11am EST and get an additional 5%! Happy Turkey Day"
There you go friends, don't say the phrase "tittay rainbow" never did nothin' for you! Make sure you get your orders in over at Eberjey's webshop bright an early on Monday (i.e. tomorrow) morning--unless you wanna get caught doing the no pants dance like Natalia up there...

Stop! Halte! Arret! Someone just a little more badass than me needs to quit what they're doing IMMEDIATELY and buy these crazy amazing shoes. They are a size 7.5, and they are a bargain to boot!
I nearly snapped them up merely on principle when I came across them the other night. I mean, I've never seen anything lime 'em in my life AND they're vintage! But I have decided not to be a greedy hoarder for once, and instead share the insane, zippery wealth.
