pretty tough to think about

White Blood Cells was easily one of the most important albums of my mid-teen years (along with the soundtrack to The Royal Tenenbaums and Queen's Greatest Hits...) The White Stripes also hapen to be possibly the most Christmas-appropriate band ever, in terms of color scheme anyways.

My point is: rock out guys, it's the beginning of December!!

ZOIKS, december?? I better put some twinkle lights up, fast!

they are very festive, look at all that red! i'm one of those people that will wear red and green together year round, in spite of every person who tells me i look like christmastimes; they're just great colors together, sue me!

they're so awesome. a long time ago my husband's band played a show with them. this was shortly before they got popular. there were probably only 40 people in the bar. i had never heard them before and i just remember how much they stood out to me. their sound was so raw. anyway, a few months later i heard them on the radio and immediately recognized them. that's my white stripes story :)
