BRIE ET CHAR

Miu and Miau

Thank you all SO MUCH for the kind comments on my last entry!! You made me :n )

I've just been invited last minute on a weekend adventure out of town, so it'll be a quiet one around here. Fortunately, in case you're jonesing for more ME (you are, admit it), I did a really fun little interview with the sweet girls from Brie et Char, so if you've always wondered what my favorite iTunes radio stations are (so croosh!) or just what the hell the name of my blog means anyways (hahaha it's kinda dumb!) have a look-see (and don't forget to check out the rest of their wonderful blog as well!) And duh, have a great weekend!

I used to have that Beatles BBC cd as well (not sure what happened to it)! It's actually because I recognised that John quote that I decided to have a look at your blog, thinking that a blog with a title like that can only be really fun. Have a good weekend, happy Easter! x

Aw man, that was so great! I like how open and honest you are, and thanks for mentioning little ol' me. It's always cool to read about stuff that doesn't make it onto the blogs normally, like what book one is reading at the moment.

Pretty pleased to see this picture of some of my favourite movies, too.

I love the pictures and the simplicity of your outfit. You make a baggy t-shirt and cutoffs look really stylish!

That was such a great read. Hooray for Film Studies! Working through Rohmer's Moral Tales is on my summer to-do list for sure.

I'd actually love to hear more about how you got your start freelancing (if you care to share of course). I'm at a similar restless stage, so I can relate.

All I had to see were the Six Moral Tales to know I had to comment. Which one is your favorite?

And let us not speak about how incredible the fashion is. Love in the Afternoon may have finally convinced me that not all of the 70's deserve to be forgotten.

I just saw the lookbook, you're born to be in front of the camera too if this blog or the lookbook proves anything! gorgeous!

also, looking at your new dvd acquisition, have you watched 'Dekalog'? A firm favourite of mine and I highly recommend it, I think you would like it.

Also, I read the interview and love that you've been watching Howards End and My Brilliant Career, I love films set in the Edwardian period - all that repressed sexual tension! Have you read Miles Franklin's 'My Brilliant Career', its fantastic, I love the restless heroine with the mop of unmanageable hair. An Aussie Anne Shirley, as it were.
