makin' it happen

A few posts ago, I mentioned the (ongoing) need in my life for more stripes. As much as I'd like to think that sitting around waiting for a St. James tee to fall into my lap might just work for once, this afternoon I decided to take matters into my own hands.

I discovered the other day, through polyvore of all places, that GAP Kids had a pretty sweet selection of striped tees. A short trip up Fifth Ave. later, and I am the proud owner of a brand spankin' new, super soft and comfy boys XXL top for all of $12.50. Boo. Yah.

hi-ya

Today was a beautiful day, which was a relief after a pretty nasty weekend. Sadly I had to spend most of it locked up in a dark editing lab (not working on my Super8 footage, not yet, but soon!) I bought myself a bunch of hyacinths last week to celebrate the unseasonably warm weather. They still look and smell good enough to eat.

Loverly top... I'm a big fan of those kind of stripes (like nearly everyone else he he) and it looks really good on you. Love the colour of that skirt too.
