I'm usually not the biggest fan of the shorts-over-tights look, primarily because I'm jealous of people with stick legs who can pull it off, but I really love how it looks on Alexa here. Almost makes me want to give it another shot, but with something dark, fitted and velvet instead of the various types of jeans shorts I've attempted in the past.

when i wear tights with shorts i feel a bit like little lord fauntlerory...but this looks fantastic! i love the blouse with the bow pin as well!
h&m had an almost exact pair a few months ago, minus the belt loops.

Jessica: I think they might actually be part of the line that Alexa has designed fro Madewell, so we may all be able to buy a pair pretty soon!
