For anyone wondering which lipstick I ended up buying for New Years, I went with Sephora Brand in It Girl. It's matte and quite intense on! My first choice was NARS Heat Wave, but the Sephora was half the price, and almost as nice.
Also, this American Apparel nail polish, a gift from Jacky, was everything I hoped for and more. Definitely my new favorite color, and it stayed put quite well, though I would recommend some sort of protective topcoat for extra longevity.

I was thinking of getting that AA shade! it's such a pretty shade of green, a la Chanel's Jade.

I just bought a bottle of the AA nail polish and I am quite impressed. I got 'Mouse' because I couldn't find Essie's Chinchilly for the life of me here in NYC, and I think I like 'Mouse' better!

Heatwave is awesome too! I wish I had known about the Sephora brand one. I am kind of a sucker when it comes to Nars tho...
