A Plea to Any Australian Readers:

That's it! I'm fed up! The lies, the deceit, the shattered dreams...that's right, I'm talking about you, Barnes & Noble.

Basically, I've given up all hope of finding Russh Magazine here in the US. Things were going so well, and then it up and disappears again! I can't take this kind of stress.

So I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who actually lives where this magazine is published (or anywhere else where they actually sell it, in stores, wacky I know) who might be willing to buy me a copy and ship it over here? And also, just how much that might run me? Cheapest shipping, plus the cost of the magazine and something for your trouble of course. You would be saving me such a world of pain, and I would love you foorrreeevvvveeeerrrrrr!

Edit: Eureka, I think I've found a source (a "RUSSH enabler", ha!) Thank you Hannah, and everyone else that offered to help! Proof that if you need a hand, sometimes all you gotta do is ask :n )

That shot is GORGEOUS! I can understand why you would want your hands on an issue so badly. You probably have already, but possibly eBay too, if you can't find anyone?

Actually, somehow I hadn't thought of that! I just checked, and there are a few but shipping is insane :n O

It's so strange how hard it is to find. Even when I got the Behati one it was obscured behind a bunch of French Elles at B&N. Ugh. Whyyyy don't the news shops order it?

did you try universal news in manhattan? they tend to have everything

Booksamillion say wha? I've never heard of it, book I'll look into it, thanks! And Universal News doesn't carry it, lamely enough. People have also suggested Around the World, but nope, no dice. Thanks though :n /

I just don't understand why Russh would do this to THEMSELVES? Maybe I don't know enough about the whole magazine biz, but you'd think it would BENEFIT them to make their magazine easily available in the US???

they have it all over toronto. i'd be able to get the last one but i'm not sure about the shipping. the magazine is 11.99 here. shipping would be no more then 15$. i'd have to check with canada post.

I live in Australia, and it is dead easy to find russh. It costs about AU$9 an issue. Shipping might be pretty pricey because of the weight....I could look into it a bit more if youd like...

Thanks so much everyone, really really, but I think I've found a source!

Yay for a source! But if you're still looking for a copy of the march/april you're welcome to mine. The may/june one is wonderful, make sure you get that one.

Hey!
I used to work as a fashion assistant at Russh - and at that point we did international subscriptions! Which would definately rule out the chance of heartache when you miss an issue! I'm pretty sure they still do them now too...

get in touch with 'em via their website - www.russhaustralia.com/

hope it works out. x

if your source runs dry I can do it. It should only cost 2 or 3 bucks to send it from canada, and as long as you don't mind waiting a week for it I'll consider myself paid.

I live in Australia and buy Russh whenever it comes out. I love the magazine, but it has gone down hill a little bit in the last year. Apparently there was a major exodus of staff over some issue. A pity, but it's still a lot better than some of the other magazines around. It's pretty cool that it's managed to find itself an audience outside of Australia. :)
