Congrats! I love your work, and Bust is such a brilliant mag!
I'm hoping to pitch an article (or series, eek) to them soon, how is it working with the Bust-ettes?

leilani.e: working with the Bust-ettes is basically amazing, I'm consistently in awe of how rockin' they are, and how incredibly good they've been to me :n )

It's Kathy Griffin looking unprecedentedly classy.

It's cool, you made up for calling me chicky by saying balls. Way to go! No really, congrats on the Bust contribution!!!

Hahaha, E.K., that's sort of what I was hoping. And thanks!!

wowza victorian hair embroidery has always fascinated me, ooh and i just saw, the other day, an antique watch fob woven entirely of the most gorgeous auburn locks. talk about romance. this stuff you reported on is beautifully intricate though. even with your careful description i still have no clue how the fuck she does it. balls indeed.

Actually, I don't even know how she does it really. She said in her interview that she wanted to keep it something of a secret, so we may NEVER KNOW!

Baha, I have no idea where she'd find the patience or get the vision for those pieces, dear god...

Also, sweet reccomendation! I will throw my earnest still-in-j-school self into that article pitch then. Thanks for the reply Ringo!

LOL! You're so cute, I don't hear much people using the word balls as an interjection anymore.
