Two nights ago my friend Jacky called me at 1:30am to tell me that she had just opened her copy of the Village Voice to find this hilariously accurate illustration of the Pains (by Marc Burckhardt) gracing the front page of their Fall Arts Guide. She was right, this shit is TOO GOOD. My scanner wasn't big enough to capture the full glory, but you get the idea.
Alex is pictured in his favorite burgundy cashmere v-neck sweater and, of course, Peggy's bangs are immaculate.

the other day i was listen to local radio in Melbourne, and a pains song came on, i immediately thought of you, there pretty special.

hahahaha oh man what a treat! kip's sort of staring off in to the middle distance like someone's wronged him, but i love that the leaf on kurt is almost in the right place to look like a fall-themed corsage.
