zipper blues

roomhomemissyou

Back in New York, arrived at dawn this morning. Every time I go away I have to work harder and harder to remind myself why I come back to the hot, noisy, angry city. I can't believe I have to wait a whole year to see the farm in summertime again! That's the saddest thought I can think of right now.

I feel you. A farm vacation sounds so lovely right now, this whole city just smells like garbage all summer. I try and go to the beach as much as possible and pretend I'm elsewhere.

Oh and your childhood room is so many shades of awesome, I'd have loved to grow up in that.

this picture is really nice and further proof to me that you are that rare breed of girl who was always and will always be impossibly cool. i bet you were even dressing awesome in seventh grade. and ps-i know how you feel, i was the same leaving south carolina to come back up to boston after my summer vacation to see my fam.

This picture is so lovely. I think the light is wonderful and makes it precious.

I used to live in a small village when I grew up, then moved to a bigger city. Only after having been away, I have started to appreciate countryside, as clichéd as that might sound...

However, I am now a completely different person when it comes to dealing with my surrounding in the small farm (just vegetables, no animals) my parents live in: I treasure what the garden offers, cook and bake so happy by the thought of being able to collect things to your plate or to a vase on your window sill from your own front yard.

WHat is your family's farm like?
