A few behind the scenes shots from the "Cheap Chic" spread that Chloë did for the current issue of Elle Magazine (see the results, and the massive amounts of facial photoshopping, here and here)

Every warm afternoon that I find myself walking around the East Village, I start to think that maybe today's the day I'll catch a glimpse of her. What would I do if I did? Absolutely nothing, the poor girl deserves to be left the hell alone, especially by psychopaths like me! But it would be a totally stupid, totally silly thrill to add to my list of totally stupid, totally silly thrills that NYC has provided me so far...

(Photos found on Chloë's thread over on the Fashion Spot)

oh god i die. nearly enough to grow out my bangs. bangs. why do we do it to ourselves? for that one day a week they fall in a tolerable fashion?

So I NEVER see celebs in NYC, I don't know, I guess I'm staring at feet mostly. But back in 2004ish (the years have blended together by the ripe old age of 24), my friend said Look! it's Chloe Sevigny!" There she was, standing in front of the movie theater on 2nd Ave & 12th St. &...of course looking fabulous. I felt like a huge dork, standing there with my jaw on the pavement.

Sighhhhh...

I've never had the luck either..well once, but it was with this rapper, that's not very famous, but famous enough to get me excited.. i acted like a fool and stewed about it for days.. then i came to the realization that i'm not even a fan, and he won't ever remember me... or care... like the first comment, why do we do it to ourselves??

love your blog

and chloe has nice legs, very nice legs, haha..

hope to hear from you

whyyy did they do that to her face? she looks fine as is.

I saw her once at Sunset Junction in LA. she was wearing supertight, supershort shorts, platform sandals, oversized sunglasses, a huge floppy hat...and a top of some kind. it was a couple of years ago. all I know is that she looked badass.

I once saw her eating pancakes with this dude. It was at this greasy diner by union square. She seemed really down to earth.

I too am a massive Chloe fan. Last winter, I saw her walking down 10th Av. in Chelsea in black jeans and a black leather jacket. My heart went SWOON! A wonderful moment, thoroughly enjoyed.

I've seen her a few times in Tompkins Square Park, the first time being when she plopped down right next to me on the bench with her friends. I hate to say it, but I was really unimpressed (they sat down next to me for over an hour talking about their sex lives, drugs, and bad-mouthing directors) with her and the company she keeps. Hopefully it was just an off day. I will say that both times she looked like a total babe!

Hahaha, weeeell, to be fair that sorta sounds like what I talk about with my friends in Tompkins Square Park, that and dogs (whenever I'm there it's usually with my friend and her dog in the dog park--oh, and the directors we bad mouth certainly aren't real-life acquaintances!) Who knows, who knows.

i have also seen her several times in the east village- if you're there often then there's a 100% chance you will run into her at some point. (ps i am equally obsessed with her!) even in this 80's hooker look.

Ah, see, that's what I keep telling myself, but despite the fact that I'm there at least a few times a week, still no luck...though maybe that's because I never wear my glasses out? Hell, who knows how many times I might actually have seen her!

go to sway on a sunday night for smiths night. if she's in town, she'll probably be there. and if she's not there, well, then it's a really fun dance night!
