O God, it's so nice out...

...O GOD, I HAVE NO FLIPPIN' IDEA WHAT TO WEAR.

This phrase has basically become my mantra this weekend. As much as I've been desperately anticipating warmer weather, it's still always a shock to the system to suddenly find yourself in the midst of it!

This was just one in a series of outfits I tried on yesterday in a desperate attempt to cobble together some sort of spring (nay, summer?) outfit from my closet full of cardigans and wooley skirts. Craaaaap, where'd all my little dresses go? Did I ever really have them in the first place?? How do I, what do I, aaaaaaaaaah!

Today I've resorted to something a lot more shorts-and-a-tank related. Sigh. No fun, my babe, no fun!

This is a delightful little gem of an outfit. I love the lace on the shoulders.

I've been feeling the same way when it comes to dressing for warmer weather! Suddenly I have nothing to wear.

And sometimes it's nice to wear shorts and a tank. No fun but it's comfy, ain't it?

Blarg at least you're not living in a shirt that says 'original gangstas' with the pacman dudes with cutoffs and last years broke-ass sandals. I'm moving my mom into her new house and I haven't changed clothes since friday. I'm covered in paint and my own smell makes me nauseous.

Love your top, by the way!

I'm having the same problem! I'm trying to pair things and they look all crazy, I'm awful at dressing for hot weather. That outfit is perfect though!

Damn it was hot this weekend!

I never know what to wear, even if I have all my clothes in front of me, haha.

I love your shoes.

Hey now, nobody get me wrong--I'd rather it be hot and sunny and have nothing to wear than pretty much anything else in the world. Summer is my favorite season, after all. It just takes some figuring out...but the best thing is, if it's so nice and warm out, you don't really need clothes anyways! Ha!

I'm so jealous of hearing about people going thrifting for new summer stuff, blah! Cassaundra, I honestly don't have a favorite thrift store in New York. I've yet to find one that doesn't suck for any number of reasons. I have to save pretty much all my thrifting for when I go home to the West Coast once or twice a year, but if I had a car I'd go out Long Island way, where I hear the thrifting's pretty dece. Without a car it's sort of hard to find out, however... :n (

Well, I don't know, looks like you've got a pretty great outfit there to me...! London was scorchingly hot over the weekend, but sadly now back to rain. Sigh.

Anon: uh, you mean in the one arm that's being washed out by the lighting? Yeah, I've really been cutting those right-side-of-the-body-only calories. Works wonders.

Maybe try looking a little harder before you jump to conclusions?

Thanks for the backhanded compliment though!
