Eerrie Indiana

So, much to my surprise, I seem to have survived my dental ordeal. All things considered I'm feeling pretty decent...but damn if I'm not sick of pudding already! Thanks so much for all the well-wishes and advice :n )

Spending the afternoon sleepily browsing around, I came across a label called Maise.

Looking at their pretty, hazy photos got me all inspired, but since I'm in no shape to be standing up, let alone dressing up, I spent a couple hours coming up with these polyvore wishlists instead:

I definitely want to get my hands on one of those army green parkas I keep seeing everywhere, they seem like the perfect in-between weather coat (aside from a classic trench, which I so far have been unable to procure.)

I also really want a pair of low motorcycle boots. I've spent several years under the assumption that I'm not nearly tuff enough to rock them, but heck, I've conquered ripped tights, why not biker boots? Why not the world!? Ooof, ok, I think the Vicodin is starting to talk...

I just had a horrible wisdom tooth surgery with complications to boot! Good job on being so resilient. ha.

Boooo, teeth. Honestly, my wisdom teeth ordeal was horrendous. Applesauce is (the boss) your bff, something about the tartness of it when it's sweet was really nice for me. Also, after a day or so I started eating the soft middle of white bread, since it's nice and soft and not cold and mushy.

Also, popsicles!

That dress in the last one is the new love of my life!

I sat my step-mom down to the computer the other day and had her order my very late Christmas gift (I have trouble deciding sometimes..) in the form of none other than a sweet pair of Saltwater sandals! I went for the dark brown, though- they're going to look crazy-sweet with all my summer dresses. Thanks again dude!

I'm glad you're feeling well; I have almost all of my wisdom teeth grown in and am dreading the day when my dentist changes his mind and says they all need to come out. Did you get to keep it or did it break?

I'm so glad to hear your mouth survived the trauma! I, too, hate dental work. However - these outfits are definitely time well-spent in bed! I had a pair of brown, Frye biker boots long ago, but I ended up selling them. Now I am really wondering why, why, why? Also, on a slightly unrelated note: I know you are a fellow lover of the smell of tuberose. So I have been meaning to ask you if you have ever used the Fresh soap in that scent - it completely gorgeous and subtle. I've been hooked for a while now though I can't always justify $10 on soap!

I hope your feeling better! you could totally rock the boots. Great polyvores. The advertising for that brand is so great, I really like the stripe shirt with the jean skirt.

Suzy--I didn't get to keep the tooth, I'm so pissed! What happened was, immediately after it was yanked out of my mouth, the assistant was like "do you want to see it?" and I was so woozy and buggin' I was like "uuugh no not yet..." cuz it was just too soon, but it didn't occur to me that I wouldn't get another chance, and then I was in such a rush to GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE that I forgot to ask after it, and so I'm sure they just threw it away :n ( The doctor said it was really big too, they kept joking like "haha, it's a boy!" and I sort of wanted to puke. But now I just want my tooth so I can make it into a necklace...

Sarah: I did not know of this! That is great news, because even though I looove the scent of the fresh flowers, I've yet to find a perfume or product that accurately captures it for me. I kept getting people telling me to try Fracas, and I did, but try as I might I just can't stand it! There's something so...soapy about it? Fortunately, there's a Fresh right near the B&N where I go read magazines, I will see if I can check out the soap, and muster up my poor scared wallet, today!

Suzy (part deux): Teeeelll me about it! I want that shirt...and those sandals...oh god and a tasteful pair of pink sunglasses...and I actually found those stinkin' boots in the last set on ebay, in my size...still way out of my price range. Daaaaaamn it!

Duuuude why do people think that is so weird, the tooth necklace?

I gave both my boyfriend and my bestie necklaces made (by Alice at ForestBound- swoooon) from teeth I got out when I was like fourteen and a lot of people are like "oh...thats ..nice?" but I think they are so badass and almost kept them for myself.

anyway, now I kind of want the navy sandals. i didn't know they came in navy.

My best friend made me a necklace from a deer tooth for Christmas, it's the shit! She collects skulls and skeletons, and is basically the coolest person on earth.

I think dark brown for the sandals is a very good choice, it'll go with EVERYTHING, and I don't know about you but I always feel weird wearing blue shoes with blue jeans...but maybe I am just too old fangled?
