fancy pants

Friday night, never felt so right!

This has been a mega stressful week, but it's all over now baby blue. Part of my recovery plan involved spending most of my day doing this:

Maxin' chillaxin', lady style. Also, I know what you're thinking,

pants again??? Who are you and what have you done with our Little Banana???

But here in lies my problem: I am EXTREMELY good at finding and purchasing adorable tops, like this one I found a couple days ago. I am absolutely rotten, on the other hand, at finding bottoms. This results in a massive imbalance in my closet, wherein I own approximately one billion frilly little blouses, and absolutely nothing to wear the damn things with. Anyone else have such troubles???
What's wrong with us and our brains/butts???

i definitely have the same problem. all the cute blouses in the world, and nothing to wear them with, unless it's over/under a dress.

your outfit is adorable!

omg, that looks like an excellent recovery plan! I like those pants! I also have a lack of bottoms-- that sounds hilarious. But yes, cute tops are easier to come upon!

I have the same problem, this is why I usually wear skirts and dresses. I try to tackle jeans and pants first when I go to the thrift store, even thou it's the section I loathe. Your blouse is so amazing, btw.

me too, and i totally wish i could live in dresses and skirts, but watching toddlers for a living totally sucks if i wear anything capable of showing off my Hoohah. i still refuse to own more than two pairs of jeans, though. too expensive!

oh, and try suzymaggie@gmail.com for a chittin' good time.

I want Lula! Also, tops often go un-used here too, although lately I've been finding lovable skirts galore!

I have the exact same problem! What to do? I wouldn't be too worried though, those jeans look awesome on you!

i WISH i had that problem. really i only seem to be able to find dresses. but i love a good pair of jeans with a cute top...and I am totally lacking in the tops.

I can always find cute shirts...ALWAYS. But jeans...ugh jeans. Hence, me never wearing them. It's just really difficult, so many tops, so little time!

Lately i've gone in the opposite direction! Hardly wearing jeans when i used to wear them all the time. Because I'm short, tops can be long on me so tucking them into skirts is the perfect solution. Those jeans look great on you though, very audrey hepburn

I really like this look! Especially the top - it's perfect on you.

With me it's the other way round - I'm always in need of some cute tops, the ones I have are all so plain! Note to self: need more tops)

I have the exact opposite problem being rather well endowed on top... its nearly impossible for me to find cute tops in my size!

first of all..... my oh my - you look sexy in those trousers.... red lipstick + killer jeans + amazing blazer = wow.

on the other hand - yep. i have the exact same problem. just that its the other way around... im great at finding amazing skirts-trousers-shorts, and terrible at purchasing tops. i have a massive imbalance going on as well in my closet. argh.

The new issue of Lula is, indeed, amazing. I mean, I;m not exactly what you might call an "impartial observer"...but seriously, it's pretty ace! It might even be my second favorite so far, after the one edited by Kirsten Dunst. Too much good stuff in that one!

Oh man, I envy all you ladies telling me you have the opposite problem as me! I did manage to pick up a pair of shorts for Spring this weekend...but not without caving and buying another (kind of expensive!) blouse. I suuuuuuck.
