Despite this handicap, there is nothing I enjoy more than spending precious prime Sunday evening homework hours looking at pretty vintage shoes online. So here, I offer you a mouthwatering (foot-watering?) selection of "shoes I would buy on etsy if they were my size and I had several dollars at my disposal."
Top: wedge heeled oxford from Pretty Little World; Mezzanine (clockwise from top left): Ferragamo pumps from NSTYLEVINTAGE; spotted booties from ambrosia; vintage Candie's wedges from Vintage Revolver; suede platform ankle boots from Cookies & Creme; Bottom: stacked heel fringe pumps from new duds.

Uhm... I'm kind of in love with your blog.
You have CRAZY good taste.
Added to my blogroll, if you don't mind? :)

Ahaha, "foot watering" made my day. Those shoes are amazing... If any of them would have been large enough to fit my mammoth feet, I would be in there like swimwear.
I Looooove it all
THANKS for the feature
The two suede pair are amazing!!
So, I was just curious - did the shoes I sent you fit? Because they are a seven and a half, but a vintage seven and a half, so I was not sure if it'd be kosher? I really hope so, but if not I know how that goes.
ooh love the shoe boots and oxfords<3
brown suede booties = autumn!
every last shoe is deliciously lovely :D
great blog, dahhling!
i really love your sense of style - and how it's sort of in line with but somewhat undermines what everyone else is wearing. great photos!
Cute shoes.
i really adore your blog and read it quite religiously. this is why i've decided to tag you despite the fact that i've always been too shy to tell you how much you inspire me! go check it out!!
Thanks so much everyone! Jimmy, that is one of the best compliments I think I've ever received. And left hand, don't be shy! That's ridiculously sweet of you, and even though I usually don't respond to such taggings (not that I don't appreciate it, I just forget!) I really like that one, it's nice and short but still interesting. Perhaps I'll actually fill one out this time!
I'm so bad about buying shoes that are the wrong size just because they are pretty. Mostly I do it at thrift stores when they're about 1/2 size too small. I try to convince myself that they'll stretch even though the logic behind that is a little fuzzy since they're probably already stretched...
Anyways, I love the last pair a lot. Ironically, they're half a size too small for me.
I love all of these shoes. Sadly I can't buy vintage shoes on the internet either given that my right foot is half a size bigger than my left. I have to try on both the 7 1/2 and 8 pair at regular stores to get the best fit. So I join in with your online shoe buying sadness. :(
They're all brown. I love brown shoes.
yikes i love the wedge in the first photo! but its freaking tiny!
sorry for the late comment but oh my gosh i totally understand where you are coming from! i am average size, 8-8.5 and it seams that all the shoes i fall in love with are around size 5-5.5 vintage sizing!! for example

What is with peoples feet evolving 2 meters longer in the past century!
p.s ive read your blog for a long while now but never got around to commenting! i have you linked if thats ok.
i LOVE your picks. you do have fabulous taste.
Wow, a blog that I actually want to read, not just skim over and look at the pretty pictures! (though I must say your pictures are pretty good too...)
I love your hair, especially on the picture with the goat! Please tell me it comes in a box..?
Haha, you're in luck airam, as it does indeed! I use Herbal Essences Bold 'n Beautiful Color in #54 Amber Shimmer. Quite a mouthful, but it sure gets the job done!
Oh and thanks for the link annie, I shall reciprocate :n )
No, really? I am too lucky! Now the only problem will be that I'm a dark brunette, and will probably look absolutely horrible as a blonde :p But thank you so much anyway!
i fell your pain! i have a handbag, it was unclear to me at the time, what i was buying into. second hand but that doesn't change the fact the leather is emu skin! i think pony skin also has a disturbing ring to it. if its second hand i think there is a way to forgive your self. i mean i call myself vegetarian.. leather has a way of repulsing me. but if the skin is there, the animal has already died and at least our re-loving of this poor thing, gives it abit of a prolonged second life?? thats how i look at it

Carlotta commented earlier (this double blogging gets confusing) i feel like i need to clear up whos who, else i feel like a weird identity theft
