Hey you!

Yeah, you! I just wanted to extended a big thank you to everyone who's been dropping by lately. I truly enjoy reading your comments, and it's incredibly gratifying to see how much more activity goes on around here compared to when I was first starting out, a baby blogger in baby blogger swaddling clothes, knee high to a grasshopper. (I'd also like to whisper a smaller, but nonetheless sincere, thank you to whoever has been supporting my "sponsor" over to your left. Whatever keeps a girl in discount hosiery, right?)

It never ceases to amaze and flatter me that so many of you are willing to take the time out of your day to see what I'm up to, despite the fact that what I seem to be up to much of the time is bitching about being broke and obsessing over weird shoes on eBay.

So here's to you! May I never completely exhaust your patience!

Your have an amazing style and you seem so nice, that's only justice that a lot of people read your blog! ;-)
About the glasses post, I didn't mean I wish I had to wear glasses, but I that I wish some kind of "glasses for people who don't need it" existed. I didn't mean to offend you, I am really sorry. (I am ashamed, my english is so bad)

You are a very inspiring person, thanks to you I bought the American Apparel high waisted skirt and it's great!

Sorry for the much too long comment ;-) Keep going!

Oh, that link! My mom owns those shoes! She bought them in the UK. Ha. Sometimes masterpieces are better left on canvas, I think.

Keep up the amazing work!

I've never commented before, but I felt compelled to thank YOU for writing such a welcoming fashion blog. Many fashion blogs are so pretentious, but you, while having the style chops to justify pretension, seem very friendly and willing to spread the love.

Oh jeune, you didn't offend me at all! Please please don't feel bad! I really do completely understand where you're coming from because, once upon a time when I was in high school and still had good vision, I felt the same way! I remember looking at a Delia's catalogue and wishing I could wear the "nerd-chic" glasses all the cool girls were wearing. I know what you meant, and I'll tell you, your English is a hell of a lot better than my French will EVER be!

And it's true, I DO want to spread the love! I guess maybe I've been humbled by the fact that I was the most awkward, self-conscious, nerdy, sad little girl for such a long time growing up. I used to wish I could wear the kind of things that I really wanted, but I was so uncomfortable drawing attention to myself that I always shrank back. But, over a long painful time, I realized that I COULD wear those things and do whatever the heck I wanted, I just had to have confidence in myself and look at things with a sense of humor. That's all it took (ha, simple enough, right?)

Anyways, most of all I believe that no one should ever take themselves so seriously that they can't laugh at something as ridiculous as fashion. I mean, come on! As much as I love it, I know it's all, really, just a big joke, and we're just weird fur-less animals running around trying to fool each other into thinking we're all terrible civilized!
