LATELY

Good things, as of late:
•My No.6 clogs from La Garçonne. They are much darker than I expected, but I love them, even though I am terrified to stretch them out or scuff them or...basically wear them haha.
•Cicciolina the Cat and Herbs, sweet zines by Jung Eun Park. Much thanks to Katie for these!
•Sunlight on the new/old afghan. I found this on etsy and it is so obnoxiously floral and I LOVE it.
•The cover of the new German Measles record. I want that painting to hang above my sofa. I believe it was painted by a chimp?? (The music ain't half bad neither!)

Other things, lacking photographic evidence:
Fresh muscat grapes (over priced but deadly addictive)
Making my first maki sushi roll ever and not totally fucking it up!
Looking forward to this movie and this one too.
Crushing on this one-piece by Minnow Bathers.
Spring sunshine, even though it's weak and makes everything look a bit off color--"A" fort effort sun!

What else is good lately?

Love the obnoxious rug! I really want some harcore crochet action in my life. The clogs look gorgeous and I'm sure they will wear in well...

Cicciolina the Cat looks amazing. There's nothing like a creative zine to make a day so much better.

Aaaah yeah, pears and brie sound perfect right about now. Even better: baked brie with pears. I need to make that happen.

baked pears? that sounds like a whole new dimension of deliciousness. i'm really into sweet and savoury at the moment.

Sweet and savory is like the very foundation of my life! It might just be the closest thing I have to a religion haha. What kills me is that my boyfriend can't stand the combination. Crazy fool!!

he'll get there :)

i never used to like nuts in my dinner, and now a handful of walnuts or cashews is my answer to everything!

Thanks guys! :n )

Matilda: I don't know, but I sure hope so! I'm pretty spoiled though, because if it does make it to theaters odds are it'll play somewhere here in NYC...I feel like it's the kind of thing that could definitely be enjoyed on DVD as well though. Hoping to see Meek's cutoff ASAP, the colors alone sold me.
