Leaving for the airport in a few hours. I hate to fly quite this early, but as always there's not only a plane but a shuttle bus and a ferry ride between me and my destination. I'll try and keep up while I'm away, which shouldn't be too much of a challenge--my parents love the internet almost as much as I do!

gorgeous photo! i'm on an island at the moment too. there's something so magical and nostalgic about ferry rides, especially when they're a necessity to get to your destination. the isolation from big-city civilisation forces you to enjoy the little things in life that bit more than usual.
most excellent backside- for real those cutoffs are TREATING YOU RIGHT.

I actually love flying too! I'm plenty nervous about other things in my life, but flying has never been one of them. It just feels like an adventure, even if i know exactly where I'm going. Guess what I should have said is "I hate going to the airport this early" heh.
