NO MATTER HOW FAR AWAY YOU ROAM

Snowfall

I dearly wish that I could wake up tomorrow morning and find this as the view outside my window. Nothing reminds me of home at Christmastime like deep green fir trees dusted in powdered sugar snow--and there's nowhere I'd like to be so much tomorrow as home. This is the fourth year in a row I've spent the holidays on the opposite side of the country! And try as I might, it's never really, truly felt like Christmas in all those years.

But ok ok, I'll spare you my sob story and instead wish you all a Happy Christmas, Joyeux Noël, God jul and all that! And if you happen to be home for the holidays, enjoy it all the more for my sake??

aw siri! i feel ya on this right now. i ended up stuck in boston, utterly alone, for the weekend. the only thing good about this is that all my roommates are gone. so i can blast the heat and walk around naked and stuff. i'm naked right now in fact. just kidding. i'm not naked. merry christmas.

Joyeux Noël Siri! I'm going to visit my mother's family and it's going to look a bit like that outside my window... I'll try to send you some deep Canadian woods vibes on Christmas morning! xo
