The Pains of Being Pure at Heart - Heart In Your Heartbreak by forcefieldpr

Wahoo! The Pains have a new single out, the first--and one of my very favorite--from their sophomore album which will be released early next year (yes, I've heard it and yes, call me biased but it is GOOD.) I've been anticipating this moment literally since, ahem, I heard them open up sound check with it in Kobe, Japan all the way back in February (just being real, guys.)

Don't forget, these dudes just embarked this morning on a West Coast tour, followed by a couple weeks in Europe. I can guarantee several new songs are in the mix, so if you think you've already seen the Pains, well my friends, think again!

ana--I'll definitely suggest it! Wouldn't surprise me if they come there next year though, after the album comes out. They're kinda going everywhere I think!

Catherine--I know, I love the artwork too! It's by the same guy who did the cover of the Say No to Love single, but his name is escaping me...

Love the song. I have yet to go a concert this year and I think this will be the one to go to. :)

I noticed today that they're playing in Portland this Saturday... and I'm in Portland! If I sell enough stuff at Little Winter to buy some tickets, I'm totally going to go!
