Truth be told, this is not what I wore today, or even yesterday (for that you're gonna need to tune into Turned Out next week!), this is from thursday, since today was way too hot and muggy to give a rat's ass what I looked like. Seriously, I think I sweated half my face off. The weather here is making me miss the West Coast like mad, because even though I hear that summer is only just starting to rear its head over there, you guys know that once it finally settles in, it's gonna be gooooood.
My new flats from Pop Fizz Vintage, with cute lil' roses on the toes. Aaaaw! I've been sans a pair of black flats for way too long, you can't imagine how frustrating it is when the only pair of comfortable, flat, closed toe shoes in your closet are bright green (or maybe you can?? In which case, I pity both us fools!)

Dude I knoooow. It's like Spring lasts for about .25 seconds, and then the possibility of wearing more than one piece of clothing at a time becomes ludicrous! All I'm asking for is cardigan-over-a-dress weather, is that so much?? It's the extremes that are driving me crazy.
It's wild that it's so warm there!! We got sun today but nothing intense. I still think that leopard blouse is the perfect one, I never managed to find its twin! I love your new flats, I don't know what I'd do without my trusty suede fringey black flats. So important!! Can't wait to see your street style superstar self on turned out, too!

I still am not ready for this weather! It's impossible to not feel gross, no matter how little clothing you wear. You still manage to look pretty relaxed, though! Love the shorts. You seem rather skilled in finding perfect higher waisted cut offs.

ohhh man, loving those lil' roses. and it's so true about black flats, for a while i got so bored with myself that i only allowed one pair to stay in my closet, OF COURSE i've worn that one pair down to their soles.
also, that leapordy guy is perfection.
i always happen to wear my black flats down to the soles.... they are so sensible and fitting to every occasion though!
