Even if I'm not crazy about some of the styling, I still kinda love this shoot from Numero #114, maybe because it reminds me of all the old '70's Vogue pages I used to spend hours photocopying when I worked in McHenry Library at UCSC (oh and the hair--the hair is great!!) Seriously though, if you ever have a chance to visit/attend that fine institution, check out their US Vogue collection. It dates back all the way to the '40's and is really something to behold!

You mentioned UCSC, did you use to go there? I am transferring there next quarter. I will make sure to check out their Vogue collection.

Anhel: I went to UCSC for two years, from 2003-2005, and then came back to live in Santa Cruz for a few months in 2007 before moving East. It's such a beautiful place, I wish I could come out and visit once in a while! And absolutely check out the Vogue collection in McHenry, seriously, that's hours of free entertainment! Although now that I think of it, they may have been moved to a different building right before I left, but I have faith that they're still around somewhere...

FIT has an excellent collection of Vogue and Harper's, dating back to the late 1890s, I believe.
Check it!
