Central Park West
I love the styling and tone of these photos from the May issue of L'Officiel Paris. They really speak to the way I'd like to dress these days: comfortable, simple, with some sharp accessories, and most importantly, involving nothing too flashy, fussy or frilly.
If I could throw away all my skinny jeans and wear nothing but trousers from here on out, I would in a heart beat. Sadly, finding the perfect pair of trousers is proving no easier than finding the perfect pair of jeans...bugger it.

You seriously post the bestttt editorials!
This kind-of reminds me of stuff my mom wore in the 80s ... she was chic, though ... so no bad mom connotation implied! I know what you mean about finding a flattering pair of trousers - tricky, very tricky!
Thanks so much Diane!!
mapetiteamy: I can totally see the '80's thing, it's like class-ified, understated mom '80's haha. And trousers can be seriously tricky, right?? I always see bloggers wearing amazing pairs from H&M and Zara in particular, but when I try stuff on there it always looks a bit off...
Gorgeous editorial...

I really like the pictures you've drawn
These are from this year? I was going to say 'Man, people sure knew how to dress back in the day' - but make that, the French sure know how to dress. If I could do that with my hair, I would.
I glad you brought this up. I am having trouble finding the pants I want which would be high waisted, pleated and wide legged like something Lauren Hutton wouldve worn in the 70's. Any pants that come close usually have a waist that is cut too low and looks really dated. Guess its a job for a tailor or vintage hunting. Both seem too expensive.
I know what you think of American Apparel, but, they just received a collection of pleated, straight-legged, high-waisted, flattering trousers and the all-cotton ones are very comfortable!
