this 'n that with rusty
Here's the rest of that roll of film I recently got developed. Bits and pieces from my trips to Century 21 (Marc Jacobs heels, even at 60% off, are still not cheap enough, boooo)/a friend's brand new badass tattoo/new (old) jewelry/my ever-growing leopard print collection/some nice soft and spiny corners of our room.
I'm headed home to Washington State for a week or so starting tomorrow, and the trusty old Canon camera will be coming with me.

mmmmm, leopard print everything!
great pics :)
well done! awesome photos!
These were really fun photos to look at. What are the charms on that charm bracelet? And is that a tattoo on the back of that person's arm? If so, it is a very unconventional tattoo and I'm curious to learn more about it....
Oh! I'm also from Washington state! yay haha
ooohhhh... leopard print... drool....
Great photos!!

Life is hard enough, and I hope that my site can provide even the slightest bit of happiness and guidance to anyone's day.

I love those shoes, they're lovely. And Lula magazine, ahhhhhhhh, I want it!
Have a nice day x
These photos are so beautiful! I enjoy how the tattoo echoes today's date (the 13th of January).
Thanks so much everyone!
Alyssa: I got that bracelet at a flea market here in NYC. Besides the silly stones wrapped in wire that I soon took off, the charms are these really amazing gold-tone oak leaves and funny gnarled looking pieces of wood or branches. Really cool, I'd never seen a vintage piece like it! Also, the tattoo is on the back of my friend Jacky's arm. She got it with a few other friends to celebrate Friday the 13th. Did you know there were three last year?? Crazy!
wonderful photography! i can't wait to see more!
LOVE THE BRACELET!!! WM.

These photos are amazing! I'm jealous of your leopard print collection.
Beautiful photos. If you don't mind me asking, what film do you use? Is it Fuji Velvia?
Wow! You take fantastic photos.
the colour tones of the photos are beaautiful! i really need to get some of my film developed, though I fear the airport x-rays may have destroyed it... tear.
I seem to recall you saying that leopard print wasn't your thing...lies! That pile of leopard turns me on. Great pictures :)
Laura: actually, crazily enough these were taken on Duane Reade brand film, just the super generic stuff! I'm amazed at how well they came out, all things considered!
dw: You should go for it! I've heard that airport scanners usually only affect very slow or very fast films, so your standard 35mm stuff should be ok. I've also read that it's better to take your film through as a carry on rather than checking it, because the xrays they use the scan checked bags are much stronger. At the very least, you might get some sort of crazy somethin' out of it!
Coco: Haha, no no just the opposite! Leopard is the only animal print I can stand. I USED to be totally anti animal prints, they just always seemed so trashy, but I've grown to open my mind a bit, heh.
