courage, my love

stylesightingsglass

I'm pretty sure I've already ranted and raved to you plenty about how I feel concerning pants. Long story short: I'm not a huge fan. I think the main problem is that, while I have great affection for the lower part of my legs, the upper parts? Not so much. That's why skirts and dresses are so great--they're made for playing a devious game of hide-a-thigh.

Ah, but pants! (Or should I say the pant??) They're everywhere these days--and not just any pants, really cool pants, like the ones up top. Slouchy, cuffed, printed, plaid. They make me want to throw caution to the wind...and my insecurities out the door.

So I'm trying. I'm experimenting. I think the secret to this thing might be pairing the pant with a really killer shoe. Sadly, my sexy shoe supply is sparse these days, so I went with the old staple Dingo boots. I dig it, but it's not quite there. But I'm ok with that.

On a side not, I said goodbye to my yellow walls today. I've moved in to a new place, though unfortunately most of my stuff wont be following me for another week or so. Outfit shots might be scarce for a while, I'm still figuring things out. And I'm sure gonna miss that golden glow...

ditto the above comment, but I do know what you're talking about! I don't even own pants, so you're doing pretty well. I'm thinking of taking the plunge aswell...

totally refreshing to see a not-quite-there (but, lets face it, still crazy-stylish) look; i applaud said courage!

and, hey, i'm not a fan of my knees and below, whataya say we frankenstein those mothers! logistics and skin tones aside, that'd be one hot leg.

I think you pull these pants off pretty awesomely. I like how they're so narrow! I hope you keep experimenting with pants if you look this good in them.

The trousers look great on u! no need to worry what so ever. Been on searching for the perfect trousers too though... Some of them should be great when one's got leg-complex. Problem's where to find a pair. Sorry about this long comment but u always look fab!

You look gorgeous in these..er..pants. Sorry! Being English it feels weird saying that as of course to us it means your underwear :)

I completely understand your thigh insecurity as I absolutely detest mine (no swimwear or shorts for me..)

That said though, your thighs look incredibly slim!

Aw jeez thanks everyone, I know I don't really have so much to worry about, but that doesn't keep me from being a silly self-conscious GIRL, bleh!

The pants are a pair of vintage Levi's that I got at Beacon's Closet. For every five times I walk away from there empty handed and discouraged (or just really ticked off), there's that one time when I score some really cool pants or something that just keeps me coming back like a sucka...

You look supercute in those trousers - I know I am repeating what has already been said, but you have absolutely nothing to worry about! I know what you mean re: missing wall colours - I recently moved, and really miss my mint green bedroom..! :)
