I tromped all over town today (...and by all over town, I mean the three buy/sell/trade stores where I can actually afford to buy things...) looking for a great pair of heels to wear out tomorrow, but to no avail. Suzy, you nailed it. These would totally have killed there--but I also might have killed myself walking there from the L train over all those cobblestones...or at least twisted a spindly ankle. Still though! I ended up wearing my trusty ol' ankle boots with my little dress instead. Hell, if Alexa can do it, so can I dammit.
cobblestones? awww. i would like if everywhere had at least one cobblestone street still. if we could make that a requirement, that would kick a lot of ass in the name of quaintness.
