Lewis S/S 2010

My photos from the Lewis S/S 2010 Presentation. Upstairs at 5Ninth, models were arranged in tableau along one wall, each of them wearing a pair of immaculate white Keds. The room was peppered with circus props, and in one corner a projector played the latest little movie starring Lewis wear, shot down at Coney Island.

The last two photos are of the designer herself, Alison Lewis. I think she was a little giddy from exhaustion by the time I snapped this photo right before we left! I was so happy for her. It's always nice to know someone who absolutely deserves their success.

Thank you thank you guys! The collection really was gorgeous, and the models were so funny. I mean, THEY were dead serious, but it was such a silly scene--whenever there was down time, especially towards the end, the girls would start to chat quietly and giggle with each other, but the second someone came close or wanted a photo, they would snap into pro mode, givin' out looks and pouting right on key. Modeling in presentations seems pretty dead boring, but heck, I guess there are worse ways t make a buck!

And Suzy, I don't know why I don't post more of my photos here. I still have some left from my trip this summer. I've really been making an effort lately to use film, and I found a really good developer in Greenpoint, so hopefully there'll be more to come in the future.

Aw I love the photo of Alison! I was there too to take photos (though flustered, that day was insane). They kept yelling at the girl in the green one shoulder dress for falling asleep. Ah, the life of a model.

The girl in the white dress looks how I used to as a teenager when I was stuck at a family affair and just wanted to go out with my friends. Sullen strikes again. :|

Awww, these are soooo nice! I'm especially smitten with the model in the 4th and 6th picture, she's soooo sweet!(I think I have a girl crush! >.<) The lookbook looked amazing, but those film photos are almost better! Isn't film the greatest?
