even if you're a winner, you're still a lug-er

I took the new bag out for a test run yesterday. Verdict: a bit smaller than I'm used to, but a copy of New York Magazine fits perfectly into the back pocket.

This blouse has the prettiest lacy detailing around the neck that's so hard to photograph with my poor little Coolpix, but this shot gives a bit of a better idea.

As mentioned previously, I set out this day determined to find party shoes, and what did I come home with instead? A beat up old Mickey Mouse sweatshirt and an enormous golden yellow men's cashmere sweater. Such a combination of win/fail truly boggles the mind.

this second photo is so great. the colors are just so right together.

i feel like you're hitting it out of the park on this blog lately (moreso than usual), with just the right variety of outfit posts, fashion scans, FOOD, band-pimping, 'i wish' posts, and that 'long hair' prose was so adorable. tip-of-the-cap to you, good lady.

Hey, even if you didn't find party shoes you should still be happy with your Mickey Mouse sweater find I've been looking for one of those fora ages, to no avail.

Aw man, thanks guys! Thanks Suzy! I'm pretty happy with the way things are goin' around here lately, but I do fear a bit for the future...I'm moving into a MUCH smaller, MUCH darker apartment come October, and I don't really know what that will mean for outfit and etsy posts. Definitely less, if any, and no more yellow walls :n (

But hopefully someday in the not too distant future I will be moving again, into a new, beautiful place of my own that will be ten times more bright and beautiful than where I am now. Hopefully.

P.S. Madelene, that means an awful lot to me, seeing how very much I admire your style philosophy. You inspire me daily!

oh my, that golden yellow sweater sounds amazing! i always go into stores with the intention of buying one thing and end up with something else that's equally (or more!) awesome.
