oooohhh the sweaty feet you'll endure! one summer i had a pair of shoes with such an offensive odor (in spite of regular foot-powdering!!) a friend recommended i pop 'em in the freezer every night. i can't recall how well this worked, exactly, but i do remember my roommates' reactions to finding notoriously smelly footwear in the same vicinity as their food.

I just bought a pair sort-of like this, but shorter and with a more Monk-strappish-feel. They're a navy suede and leather combo. I've been wearing them now with no socks! So, I say definitely for now.

Those shoes are sweet! But I hate wearing shoes barefoot. My feet usually get all red and sweaty and such. I hate summer for that.
