Red Hairing

Photobucket
(me circa Spring 2007)

My hair used to be A LOT redder. And, while I'm pretty pleased with my general strawberry blonde-ness these days...seeing these photos of Eleanor Cording-Booth over on Show Me Your Wardrobe...

...has got me itching to jump back on the rusty bandwagon.

I'm not sure I really want to repeat the process of trial, error, and tears (so many tears) it took to finally achieve the shade you saw above (of course I didn't do anything so brilliant as to keep track of my steps...grrr...), but dang if I don't miss that hair!

I love your hair blonde! As a redhead, I don't see why anyone would want it... I think it just looks funny with some colors (especially on top)...

SO. Was the spring 07 pic the herbal essences #54? If so, hi I'm off to the store ASAP.

business, I wish I could remember! But I don't think so...though it may have been layered ontop of something else. #54 is a bit lighter, on my hair at the moment anyways.

Your hair looks really pretty red. If you need some advice I am happy to oblige. I am a pro here in Sf, but could recommend shades for you. For instance it looks like your hair, when red was between a level 8 and 7 coppery blond. You could mix a 7 and 8 together when covering up a blond. If you want more advice end me a message! ;)

we'll talk about that shirt you're wearing later, but yes yes yes go red. take advantage of your versatility and be glad you aren't stuck with only one hair color that works. bah.

futurelint: I can TOTALLY understand being a red head and not really caring for it. My best friend, who you saw below, has what I think is the most perfect, amazing red hair ever, and she's always moaning about it and threatening to dye it brown (she has a couple of times). I can understand wanting a change, but every time she tries to mess with it I just want to cut it all off and glue it to my head! Still, the grass is always greener (or redder as the case may be...)

Pretty Pirate: Wow, thank you! I will absolutely keep all that in mind, and don't be surprised if I come knocking for some color advice :n )

Staying blonde for summer is probably a good idea anyways, since red is so hard to maintain, especially if I'm gonna be in the sunshine very much. Maybe it'll be an auburn winter??

I love red hair, in fact once I turn my hair to red and it was funny, but I really looks great. My grandmother likes to turn her hair to red to capture the attention of my grandpa, and he likes to visit Viagra Online

in my opinion the red hair women look fantastic in dark colors, a color that highlight her hair color, as you show in this post black is the color.
