Pssst...

(...which also happens to be the brand name of my favorite dry shampoo...)

Couple'a new things over in the Etsy. I can't promise I wont spend my earnings on a pair of these Betsey Johnson tights I've been pining after for months (I mean, a pair of tights that actually makes me WANT to wear tights at this point is not a pair of tights to be turned away lightly...)

But don't worry guys, whatever happens, I PROMISE I'll blog about it. That's only fair.

Aw man! I got so fed up with the price of Bumble&Bumble's powder shampoo that I just started freaking washing my hair more regularly. Do you use the 'blonde' one or the regular?

Lovely outfit! What kind of material is that dress you're wearing? It looks interesting and I want to tug on it, haha, weird as that sounds.

I love those Betsey Johnson tights you're coveting but I also adore that dress the model is wearing! I want that, too.

AW, that dress is so adorable! I love the texture. Nothing beats the beautiful simplicity of a plain black dress.

Just bought the lil trumpet necklace...couldn't resist.

And does the Pssst stuff really work?

Those tights are so awesome! I like the way she's just ripped them, like, who cares if I've got a run in my expensive tights? Its all about the style.

awww i love that trumpet necklace, shame it's gone.

Those tights are really cute but they rip so easily. Tabio has some that look exactly the same but probably last way better, as tights from Tabio seem to be practically indestructible. I love how frequently you are posting just now by the way, your blog is one of my favourites.

Suzy: I've only ever come across Pssst in one color, which is a (incredibly appealing) greyish white. I can't really tell if it actually does much of anything, But it was dirt cheap, I like how it smells and I LOVE the packaging. And the name, duh, I mean "Psssssssst"??? Hahaha.

corrie: Hooray hooray! It'll be on its way come Monday! :n )

Kat: Thank you thank you thank you! You are a frickin' life saver! I can't believe I didn't check Tabio. And they cost a good ten bucks less, even WITH shipping. I owe you one--make that several!!!

Aaugh, here I thought you'd discovered the holy grail of cheap&lazy hair maintenance but now you say you can't tell if it does anything, whhyyyyyyy?!

Haha, ok I mean I THINK it does? But I also might not be applying it right because I'm a dunce? I mostly just use it on my bangs, and I feel like maybe nothing can really rescue them from their greasiness but a good ol' sink washing.

It really seems that you live in a lovely wee apartment!
You always dress so beautifully as well and it's so good to see that there are other folk going to charity shops too- seem to get the best pieces from those places.
Are there any Ebay sellers that you would recommend? x

Thanks Railway! Our apartment is actually a pretty good size, all things considered, but I share it with three other people and I spend most of my time in my own room. My room is the largest I've ever lived in, I almost feel weird in it...though that probably has a lot to do with not really being able afford much in the way of furniture to fill it up with!

If it were up to me, I would shop at NOTHING but charity shops. Back when I lived on the West Coast, that's basically how I lived, but here in NY that's just not possible, or at least not very pleasant.

I've sort of given up on ebay, since things always get too expensive and I can't handle the waiting, but Liebe Marlene Vintage and Sally Jane Vintage (both of whom have blogs listed here in my blogroll) always have all sorts of great stuff.
