Big Top

Ooook, I know.

I said I wasn't gonna buy anymore blouses until I found some more bottoms...but last weekend, after buying the shorts at Beacon's (see I did good, right?), I wandered into a little vintage store, and, well, darn it can you blame me???

This thing is the happiest, brightest, goofiest kind of plaid AND it's got a little bowtie at the neck. Long story short, I caved. Hard. So sue me. (No, really. Legal action is probably the only way I'll ever learn.)

Ah, so so lovely!

And I almost found a dress in an identical coloured plaid but ran out of money to buy it and then returned to find it gone!

The blouse is perfect though, I love the little tie!

That shirt is clearly too hard to resist, and I don't blame you! Plaid and neckties always win me over.

I have the opposite problem. A closet full of bottoms and nary a blouse among them.

Gah, Sally, let's switch ok? Or how about you just let me go blouse shopping for you? Maybe that way I could get the urge out of my system, at least temporarily...

Who needs jeans when you've got tons of dresses? Haha. Love the outfit but I can't tell, is there any black in the plaid or is that just blue? Regardless, it still looks adorable.

This is adorbs.

I looove that you've actually utilized one of those hideous cord jumpers that hang despairingly in little bunches at thrift stores. I have one in the baaack of my closet that is half taken-in. (I never finish anything.) I don't even remember what color it is. Maybe brown? Anyway, I may dig it out; Thanks for reminding me of its existence!

Or, wait, is it velvet? Then I'd be downright jealous.

Naw, just corduroy. I paid WAY too much for it at a vintage store in Williamsburg. The second I put it on (AFTER I'd bought it, natch) it started ripping into little shreds, but only on this one six inch square spot on the front. Weird. I need to patch it, but I'm lazy so I just wear it anyways.

The bowtie would definitely do it for me as well! It's sweet, and it looks great on you!
