Yes, please
Accessories I would like for ye olde autumn time:
1) A sweet pair of lace up boots. Sweeter than the ones pictured (i.e. SUPRA sweet). I used to have a pair of AMAZING, lace-up knee high wood soled boots that my mom bought in the 70's. I think maybe I gave them away. Yes, it makes me physically ill just typing that sentence.
2) Words cannot accurately describe how badly I want this backpack. Too bad it's, like, $200. Really really really too bad.
3) A bicycle, like the one I had to leave in Oakland. Enough said.
4) Oh, Minnetonka. Will this be the season I finally heed your siren call? Dear suede, why must you be so pretty and soft and warm, and yet so completely impractical for the wet winter time? I ASK YOU.

Um... yes, me too please :)
Siri, those boots are in the closet. Shall I send them.
Mom
Im glad youre blogging again :)
As an owner of not one, but two pairs of suede mocs, I at the same time highly recommend them and curse curse them and warn you to stay away from the damn things! Oh the ambivalence of it all!
do it...give in to the minetonka's power..they've been whispering in my ear as well, though i prefer less around the ankle for me.. i had an old black pair of mocs that i had fixed up by a shoe repair woman. she managed to make them totally waterproof!
Love the gingery choices. oh, and exactly - why does suede have to be so imbossibe to wear in autumn?? I love its texture but damn any shoes look ruined after a rainy day
why must those backpacks be so expensive i wanted one last year but gave up after consistently finding all of them to be $100+...
Hahaha, HI MOM!
thats so nice of your mother!
all my boots are suede, so i missed out during winter (and they say theres a drought in Aus.!)
i love all of those! i recently got myself a pair of minnetonkas and i am in love.
(laughs) I love the way your mom comments and reads your blog. Also: I really want some minnetonkas in black but the wet weather would really ruin it. And I'm very intrigued by the earlier comment about getting them waterproofed. Must look into that.
I love the boots!!
I'm in love with this Minetonnka boots too!
I just got some ankle Minnetonka -- it feels like you are wearing house shoes (awesome!). I am also loving this caramel-color leather theme here.
I have those Minnetonka boots, and I don't know what I think of them. When I first got them I loved them, but now they seem to always shift and not fit correctly. It could be because I have wide feet and large ankles though.
In other news, I LOVE that bike. I wish I had somewhere to keep a bike, but I definitely can't carry one up and down the stairs of my 4th fl walk up. And by can't I mean won't. Because I'm lazy.
What boots are those? Linky linky!
Also, that backpack is completely lust-worthy.
Aww, man, I feel your pain about the boots. I want something like that too! In brown, preferably, but black would be fine, too. Or both, of course!
