Now, I know that not everyone may share my passion for Ms. Sevigny. Nevertheless, you cannot tell me that this is not an absolutely glorious summer outfit. I mean, it's been two years for cryin' out loud, and she still looks so fresh! So clean! Personally, I think it's one for the ages. I wanted so badly to find a little plaid sundress like this for my weekend getaway, but no such luck. CS, once again, I tip my straw boater to you.

I was just watching Julian Donkey-Boy yesterday and each time I see her in a film (no matter how many times I've seen it) I fall in love again. That scene in the field with the pink jacket and her crazy hair is just so beautiful.

She always looked so well, even if sometimes she looks like she fell into a junk shop wardrobe, she just has the right attitude. This is why I need a boater in my life - and the outfit to match. Although my inspiration came from Brideshead Revisited :)
