weekend update
My best friend from back home came to visit us last week. Dagmar is the coolest girl alive, and adventure has been in high supply: Corona chugging, fireworks over the Brooklyn Bridge, shady thrift stores, snacking on street produce, Indian food, Icelandic chocolate, moving sales, roof-wrasslin', Fleet Week!, dog packs, cherry pie, Found videos, Rock Rock Rockaway Beach, and copious napping. I wish she could stay with us forever!

first of all, i believe you are to blame for my current love of vests, espically those of the vintage variety.
secondly, you look adorable in that first pic.
thirdly, your friend's back tattoo is SO cool. :D
thanks for always being so inspiring.
OH man, Dagmar is one of my favourite names ever. :D It's my cat's name. lol
your friend's balloon tattoo is AMAZING! she wins, it's bigger (cough: she's braver) than my balloon tattoo.
Love the cool vintage feel of the pictures ...
sounds great.love your stripy tshirt/dress xx
aww, that's so lovely. I had a friend from back home visit me in the city and although it was cold, which I'm not too fond of, it was fun, fun, fun!
p.s. do you think you could recommend some thrift stores in nyc?
thanks!
oh man, you're making me miss nyc so much! i cannot wait to go back in a few months and do all those things.....far rockaway is callin my name...
hey girl, it's ashley/ teknolovesong from livejournal. so i just started a fashion blog here on blogger and i was wondering if you'd want to do some kind of linking to each other's blogs!? i'd be oh so flattered.

love from blossomclothingx
Best friends! Indian food! Thrifting! Woo hoo!! You two look so cool.
sounds like a lot of fun!
Thanks everyone! Dagmar's tattoo is actually of a plant called teasle, it grows wild on the island where we grew up. But either way, it sure is awesome!
As far as thrift stores in New York, I guess I should have amended that to say "Buy/Sell/Trade stores", because I have yet to find a legit, awesome thrift store here. But there's a Savers out on Long Island that has potential, and a few others in the same general area that I keep meaning to check out. The only downside, of course, is that it means a full day and a train trip, but that's only a downside if you're broke and haven't got the time!
And blossom and Ashley, I'd love to swap links! Consider it done :n )
