Double siiigh
Those beautiful, beautiful boots I wanted so badly did not fit. So I've listed them on my ebay.
I might be a little biased, but seriously, I am so in love with these frickin' shoes. The leather is soft and shiny and even the inside labels are perfect and golden and classy lookin'. I'm so bitter that they're too big for me. I should have known better than to go for an 8, but I've learned my lesson (yeah, right).
On another note, as my new banner clearly announces, it is now SPRING TIME. YOU HEAR THAT WEATHER? So shape up or ship out...

Sorry for the shoes :-(
The new banner is adorable.
The new banner is lovely!
It's too bad for the shoes!
Oh, I would be sad as you if I had to sell them...unfortunately they are too big for me as well.
Ugh - I'm forever buying shoes on EBay that don't fit. If they're only a bit too big, I've found buying a pair of thick insoles and putting in them sometimes helps.
These shoes are truely gorgeous! I have a pair the same - Vintage YSL snake skin heels - they were my aunties in the 70s - almost 2 sizes too big. for the life of me I can not give them up.
I keep thinking somehow I might be able to get away with it. Then I put them on, that doesnt work, put them on with insoles, no luck - and it is a terrible, vicious cycle as I tend to block out the reason why I can never wear them!
Still I would cry if I had to give them up!
Isn't it just a stinkeroonie when that happens? You spend days (and sleepless nights) constructing the "outfits of life" against the image of your beloved, expected-in-the-mail-any-day-now, piece de resistance--only to have your wee hopes dashed..... oh, the humanity! The sheer injustice is enough to render the strongest soul a withered-out shell.
So sorry for your loss. (cough, cough)
But chin up, dear-- there's a whole big eBay jungle out there ready to lure you into it's deep, dark recesses once again. I understand and empathize: I have "the sickness", too...
Elf shoes!
hi there..
u said "half an inch only" in your ebay page, right? thats quite fixable. unless u need urgent cash... dont give up. take it to a shoe-fixer or whatever those stores are called... it shouldnt be costly. they put some stuff underneath, inside the shoe... which can also be removable, without damaging the shoe.
seriously, have faith in cheap labour and talented hands. fingers crossed 4 u:)
Haha, well, it's not just half an inch. They definitely look and feel too big, and they're just awkward on my feet. I know there's ways of making shoes fit, for the right price, but these are beyond saving. Trust me, if I thought it would work, I'd do it!
