Whenever I get down, nothing in the world get's me through the night like a good shot of glam rock. You might know The Sweet from their song "Fox on the Run", which was in the movie "Dazed and Confused" (one of my all-time favorites) but that's just the beginning. Brian Connelly, the lead singer, is truly a god among men, and Steve Priest always has such a gleam in his eye. What mega babes.
Whenever I see videos like this, I always get so jealous of all the kids dancing in the audience. What a time to be alive! Sometimes I really just feel like everything great has already been done, and I missed it all. You know?

I know.. I fell the same sometimes and it makes me very sad and down cos I couldn't be there. I feel like I lost all those great things and so on. What a time to be alive!
i feel the same way too...whenever i watch movies like dazed and confused i get angry i wasn't at a teenager in the 70s, listening to black sabbath on the radio while driving around smoking weed and wearing high-waisted bell bottoms.
i always hear this song as "want to get you in my can", and it sounds so very gay.

I completely agree! Watching old Top of the Pops glam rock videos on You Tube just makes me wish I could have been there . . . watching the audience is almost as fun as watching the bands too . . . the kids are so awkward!
