Poor little greenie

greeeen

Greetings from the verdant forests of the Evergreen State! This is pretty much the scene I wake up to each morning, golden sunshine filtering through the maple trees, just us 'n the birds..and the cats...and the rabbit.

I found this big old Army jacket at a thrift store the other day, and with a few adjustments I'm hoping to turn it into something more closely resembling my dream duffel coat. Until then I've been bumming around in it anyways. Now all I need is a pair of killer workboots to top it all off!

  12. Anon: the dress is from Buffalo Exchange. I think it used to be one of those ankle length old lady t-shirt dresses, but conveniently someone had already chopped it off for me!

Pretty Pirate: I'm in the San Juans, which is where I grew up. Where in WA are you from?

    Isabel: you know it!

  13. I grew up in Vancouver, WA and lived in Seattle for 10 years before moving to SF a couple years ago. I love the San Juans, I've spent some amazing times there. The Orcas dump/thrift store is amazing. I've been camping in Friday Harbor (just outside of it I guess). I bet you are having a great time, it's so beautiful up there. Have you seen any whales??
