My LBD

Today as I was getting dressed, I reached for my black pinafore dress, and I realised that ever since I found it in a thrift store in Santa Cruz right around this time last year, I've probably worn it I at least twice a week, if not more. It's my immediate go-to on days when I don't have the extra brain cells to spare thinking about something clever to wear. So I decided I'd round up all the photos I have of myself wearing it, oldest to newest, coast to coast, as a sort of tribute.

Here's lookin' at me wearin' you, kid.

  1. Awesome! I like it best with a sweater or vest over it. :)

  8. dolly, I live in the top two floors of a hundred years+ old brownstone with five other people. I can't really say I'd describe it as "lovely" although maybe, under the years and years and layers of crap and filth and punk house shows and magazines duct-taped to the walls by drunk idiots and beer bottles of urine (for reals), you know, it might actually not be so bad! I take my pictures in the bathroom, which does have a very nice floor!

  9. Haha, I remember seeing this all over stylemob (and I think I have it favorited in a few different combinations). It's kind of the perfect wear-with-anything jumper and I'm pretty jealous.
