I finally used up the Urban Outfitters gift card that's been burning a hole in my pocket for nigh on a year (see a pattern here?) Mostly, things from the Urban Renewal line make me angry and a bit sickened that I'm paying through the nose for things I could find at thrift stores and make myself, not to mention all the amazing vintage dresses and whatnot they're butchering and making into horrifying ill-fitting tunic tops. But this little number was FREE, so I'll leave it at that.

I also got this little pinecone necklace! It reminds me of home, the Evergreen State.

And, my shoes came from eBay, and they are lovely little things!
Love it! Very nice pictures, especially the one with the candle! ;)
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is lovely. The pine cone necklace is so very amazing.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with your Urban Renewal commentary - a great concept but I find the pieces very ill fitting. You seem to have found the one good piece! Looks great. Very holiday-esque.
ReplyDeleteThe pine cone necklace is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the plaid Urban Renewal dresses. I agree with the fit though- the dresses I tried on fit so strangely. Pretty pick!
ReplyDeleteUgh I completely agree about the Urban Renewal dresses. Why would anyone pay $60 or so for a dress made of "vintage" fabrics when they could just go hunt down a real vintage dress instead? Oh well, I guess I'd rather have less people looking through thrift stores now that I think about it... It is a cute dress though, and I love your sunglasses!
ReplyDeletehahaha.
