Uhhhhhmmmm...so guess what's currently featured on the homepage of a little mom and pop shop called Urban Outfitters? Oh nothing, just this video...



...FEATURING A BACKING TRACK BY NONE OTHER THAN THE PAINS OF BEING PURE AT HEART, a little band that my boyfriend plays bass for which is currently BLOWIN' UP (like, outta this stratosphere.) That's allll!

I'm really glad he sent me a warning email, cuz if I'd just stumbled across this today I probably would have peed my pants.

    WHAAAAT!! That's awesome. I have to quickly become a huge fan so that once they become huge and my friends start listening to them I can be all "I was into them from way back into the day" and stick my nose up at them, because that's just the kind of person I am.

    Very very cool! I freaked when you first mentioned your boyfriend was in POBPAH because I've been listening to them for a while.

    haha yeah, I'm so excited for them! Everyone here in Austin is like "you KNOW them??!" I had no clue how much coverage was really happening until I saw this. I'm so glad thier staying with me for SXSW, I miss all my nyc friends!
