The Rain, the Park, and Other Things

I'm surprised this dress hasn't shown up more often on here. I feel like I wear it every other day. It's one of those extremely rare second hand finds that didn't need to be taken in or up or down or sideways--it just fits, like a glove.

It's such a relief to have something in your closet that you know will always work, whether you're tired or grouchy or lazy or just plain fed up. It's like a security blanket, the kind you're not afraid to wear in public.

  4. Come to think of it Afitz, neither have I...they always make me look like I have monster hands. It probably doesn't help that my favorite pair happen to be emerald green leather. Huuulk smaaaaash!

  13. Your boots I want. The only ones I find are so pricey though.

Oh man I am having the fugliest week. I overindulged so much this winter, nothing fits me comfortably anymore! I was literally squirming in my bar stool last night, desperately wanting to be safe in bed in my crappy old nighty, watching The Hours or something of equal life-discomfort.

No huzzah for me! Not a one!!
