Huge skirt (with pockets!) I have yet to work my sewing magic upon. I just love the fabric so so much!

Funny little cotton jacket. I actually saw this at the store about six months ago, I kid you not, and it was still there so, obviously, it was meant to be...

Oh, and check out the color of my new walls, and baaaathe in all that sweet natural light!

  9. The jecket reminds me of the circus I used to visit when I was a child and the yellow walls are something I liked to have right now.

  10. Oh, I am immensely jealous of that skirt. I've been looking for a similar for ages. It's going to look smashing once it's shortened!

  11. Its funny, that skirt reminds me of one of my best thrifts ever. I also got it because I loved the fabric, also with bright flowers and pockets.

I ended up shortening it, and it became one of my favorite skirts ever.

  17. Thanks all!

fashionfix--I live in a busted up old brownstone in Brooklyn with five other people. Our reward for putting up with rotting walls, unreliable heat, no air conditioning, single-paned windows, strange odors, leaking roofs and bug infestations is that we get to do pretty much whatever we want to the walls (short of tearing them down...I assume...)! And, for the most part, it's totally worth it :n )
