I've been puzzling over the identity of this woman for some time now. That outfit with the pink blazer and camel pants swept me off my feet when I saw it on style.com and then again on Mr. Newton. I had to know who she was, with her impeccable trouser collection and charmingly boyish gamine haircut.

Turns out, her name is Elisa Nalin, and she is a stylist and fashion director at Crash Magazine (where she recently styled this beautiful editorial.) I also realized that she was photographed by The Selby a while ago, and it was her insane shoe collection that I'd been drooling over all this time:

Sportmax also did a little interview with her, and she seems really charming. I wish I could find more photos of her candid style, she just blows me away every time!

I love these photos of Clémence Poésy from the April issue of Vogue UK. In the second photo she also happens to be wearing the Carvela suede boots from Kurt Geiger that I want so badly--but they don't ship to the US. Just as well since they cost a pretty penny (as so many pretty things do!)

Spring Shopping

There's so many books and magazines on my wishlist right now! Lula, The Selby, The Facehunter...wouldn't even mind The Sartorialist while we're at it.
I'm really looking forward to wearing some khakis this spring and summer! Not so much looking forward to the fact that they'll be covered in spaghetti sauce/bird poop/chocolate by fall.
Still got my eye on you, Nixon...
I think I've finally decided on the style of Swedish Hasbeens I'm gonna save up for. Now I just have to decide on the color. Red? Black? Natural? HELP A GIRL OUT!!
I definitely need more stripes in my life, but that's pretty much a constant given. I'd love to finally get my hands on a top from St. James this year. Pricey, but I hear they're kinda the best.

Just a few of the amazing photos from fashion week by Tommy Ton for style.com. Mr. Jak & Jil is easily my favorite street style photographer out there these days. His eye for detail makes my heart melt.

I have to admit, when I heard that the femme off-shoot of Fantastic Man was going to be called "The Gentlewoman", I was a bit skeptical. I mean...that's a bit of a mouthful, innit? But seeing the cover has swayed me no small amount. I for one LOVE the layout, the font, the colors, and I'm excited to read about Phoebe and Daisy and the whole gang.

Apparently it hits March 22nd, but as to just where it'll be available, your guess is as good as mine!
