For anyone wondering which lipstick I ended up buying for New Years, I went with Sephora Brand in It Girl. It's matte and quite intense on! My first choice was NARS Heat Wave, but the Sephora was half the price, and almost as nice.

Also, this American Apparel nail polish, a gift from Jacky, was everything I hoped for and more. Definitely my new favorite color, and it stayed put quite well, though I would recommend some sort of protective topcoat for extra longevity.

Exit Mag
(scans via fashiongonerogue)

So Much to Tell You just reminded me of this beautifully paired-down set of out-takes from a shoot for Exit Magazine by Benny Horne that I meant to post a bit ago. I really love that black shirt. I'm so excited to wear semi-sheer tops come springtime!

P.S. Reports from the front:
1) I found RUSSH #31 at that mag shop on the corner of Spring and Lafayette, as instructed by Chelsea (thanks again!!) All I can say is that the cover is gorgeous and matte, as I've barely gotten a chance to crack it open yet!
2) I went and tried on a pair of those Steve Madden boots I mentioned in my previous post. They are gorgeous and surprisingly sturdy and well made-feeling, but I deemed them too high for daily use. Too bad, so sad.

wishlist

Currently wishing for:
A big, soft, shawl-collar cardigan so I can stop stealing Alex's.
I really need an alternative to my warm white hat, which is rapidly becoming a warm, off-white hat...
Ugly truth: I don't own a single striped shirt. What the fuck, I know.
I've wanted these boots desperately ever since I saw them on this girl.
The hunt begins for RUSSH #31. It usually hits stateside around this time every other month. Anyone seen it in NYC yet?
This lotion reminds me of a far away time when a lemon tree grew in my backyard. It smells like smiles and sunshine.
Constantly stalking etsy for vintage rings--the more rhinestones, the better!

I finally got a roll of film developed that I shot over the course of the last few months. These are mostly from the Jazz Age party out on Governor's Island back in October, which was a bit cold and mucky but still beautiful. More to come!

Edit: I used a Canon AE-1 camera and 35mm film, Duane Reade brand I think! Thanks everyone :n D
