Finally, here's the little movie I shot while I was back home this summer in the San Juans. I set it to "Curls" by Girls, a simple, beautiful song.
I wish I could show you all how good this looks on actual film sent through a projector. I lost about 95% of the colors and clarity as a result of the transfer from Super8 to digital, since I could only afford the cheapest method...but heck, you get the idea anyways! Regardless, it was a fun experiment, and now I know my camera works, which was the real goal. Everything else is just gravy, baby.
Happy weekend!!

goin' up the country

We're heading upstate this weekend for some fall-time fun. Of most pressing urgency on the agenda: eating many delicious foods, including (but not limited to) apple cider doughnuts, pumpkin gelato, and doughboys a plenty.
Important question: does anyone know of any primo thrifting (or otherwise generally awesome) spots between NYC and Saratoga Springs, NY? You can always email me if you require confidentiality. Your secret will be safe with me, swear!! Now spill it. :n )

HGO
Even though it's kinda old, I keep coming back to this video of Hanne Gaby Odiele playing dress up in her own closet for Modelinia. I mean, damn, girl knows how to LAYER. And I want all of her shoes. Plus she seems like she'd be a helluva lot of fun to hang out with.

hey I like your t-shirt

Three amazing tees for a chilly Saturday afternoon. Sadly, the last one is vintage, but the second can be found right here. Does anyone know where the first one is from?? I need its insane magical menagerie in my life!
